the music video starts off with a over the shoulder shot of a mother being harsh on her child which already tells us how hard life must've been and it seems to be located in some flats with some distraught sounds, later on the music video location changes to the gym and the hall. the story-line for the music video is that you can be anything despite what your life may look like.

the music is about how a young mum trying to make some money for her child to get everything to live a normal life such as going to school, food, shelter and the mother is doing this by showing off her body in sexual ways which shows she doesn't want her child to go through the difficulties she had to go through and i think the props such as cigars and the setting which is a bar also makes it follow the narrative line for this song.

in this music video, it's about a man who is training for boxing and suddenly falls in love with this other girl who is also training for boxing. the song falls in place with the narrative lines as its all about love and the music video shows both love and the passion to do boxing and the music is set in a gym and the props make the video about boxing too.

Charlie Puth - We Don't Talk Anymore

the music is about how 2 people who used to talk a lot ended up not talking and how they don't laugh anymore like they used and the props on them using their phones in the beginning and then suddenly they look depressed shows that something happened which is why the song was made and the setting is in just in their bedrooms and the narrative lines match the video as it also shows them getting on with their lives after they messaged each other for the last time.

in this music video you can already tell this about love as the title says they hate someone but they also love them and the music video doesn't really show what the lyrics are being said but the the song itself is very sad along with the piano being played at a low tone in the background.

the music video is about not letting me down as said in the title and it seems to be about a bunch of girls having trust issues and the music video itself doesn't explain anything especially the prop which is a car and 2 men just being pushed doesn't explain much either.

1) What does the clip suggest about this particular storyline for Waterloo Road? What do you expect to happen? How might the new character impact on existing story-lines?

this clip suggests that theres a particular school which is facing loads of problems such as new teachers, bad students and fights happening almost every day. I expect school dilemmas to be a minor like just normal verbal fights and getting detentions from teachers not teachers calling the police onto students.

Kids in the clip were wearing school uniform which indicates that it is set in a school . the old man in the beginning of the episode connotes that theres going to be a lot of drama.

a car driving through the school gates tells us that it is going to be set in a school.

Analysis

Slogan

Slogan – the slogan for this is ‘Man of Iron’. This phrase is meant to sum up the image itself such as ‘the best for less’ means us men can get the best suits for a lower price. This also shows what men need these days when you can do or use such as weed woman and whiskey. This slogan also includes the word ‘iron’ which is showing Robert Downey JR is iron man from the marvel universe. The use of pun appeals to the male leadership to Robert Downey JR in Iron man

Cover line

Cover line – for this GQ magazine the cover line is ‘SUITS UNDER $400’ and ‘SHOES UNDER $200’. The way the font is actually on full caps lock is to show that it’s a bargain and how it’s worn by Robert Downey JR makes it look expensive which is why they also made the sub-heading ‘THE BEST FOR LESS’ which is also in caps lock to emphasise the heading.

Title publication

The title of publication – the GQ logo is placed at the top of the magazine with the colour contrast of black and white, it’s also placed there to make it easily visible and the way that the titles font is shown also shows that this magazine is for the higher classes. The connotations of gentlemen quarterly connotes that this is for men aged above 18.

Language: the movie civil war is a action and si-fi movie and its also it associates with other captain amercia movies such as avengers, avengers age of ultron and winter solider. the story of this movie is about 1 team of heroes split up due an argument about responsibility and they fight amongst themselves.

Industry: the company behind this movie is called marvel comics who are associated with action, fantasy and science fiction.

Audience: this movie is targeted t teenagers aged 12-18 as it contains a lot of action has has youngsters favourite superheroes.

Representations: the representations in this movie isn't that fair as you can see there's more men than woman. they also have message at the bottom and they are saying that when they are together they are strong but when they divide they are weak.
